Russ Olmon, President
Russ is the founding President of Ministry Advantage, founded in 1998. Ministry
Advantage is a coaching organization designed to help churches worldwide reach
their full ministry potential. Through Ministry Advantage, Russ has served over
1000 churches throughout the U.S., Canada, and Australia. In 2003, Russ launched
Church Solutions, a consulting organization which provides Onsite Consulting,
Low Cost Capital Campaigns, and Staff Training services to churches and
Christian-based nonprofits.
Lonnie Gienger
Lonnie became President and Chief Executive Officer of Wilkinson Corporation in September 2004, after two decades of owning and managing successful entrepreneurial ventures. He is co-founder/chair of Ministry Advantage. He was also co-founder and president of a strategic management consulting and executive coaching company, and also served as Director of Business Development for Advanced Business Concepts, an entrepreneurial training company that contracted with more than 15,000 small business owners. His business experience includes leading internal sales and marketing efforts as software maker Attachmate Corporation grew from 35 employees to more than 1,000 employees in a six-year period. He was also founder and president of Ambassador Communications, an advertising and marketing bureau, cofounder and Vice President of Contract Communications, another marketing service bureau, and cofounder of Orion Aircraft Services that owned aircraft and trained pilots.
John Cox
John has served on the Board of Ministry Advantage since 2002. John is Executive
Pastor at Watermark Church in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining the Watermark
staff in January 2007, he was Head of Strategic Planning for a 12 billion dollar
hedge fund in Dallas. John was also a Senior Pastor for five years in Fairfax,
Virginia. Prior to his Senior Pastor role John participated in a one-year
internship at Willow Creek Community Church. Educationally John has a B.A. from
Stanford University, an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, and an MBA from
Harvard Graduate School of Business. He lives in Dallas with his wife Jeanie and
his five children.
Teryl Monson
Teryl has been in strategic leadership of numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations. She has served on the board of Friendship House, which provides food and shelter for homeless and people in need, and is a board member of Project PATCH, a therapeutic residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. Teryl is one of the founders of Ministry Advantage. She lives in La Conner, Washington and enjoys nature photography which she shares through her website TerylMonsonPhotography.com
