Russ Olmon Russ is the founding President of Ministry Advantage Coaching. Russ founded Ministry Advantage as a not-for-profit 501(c3) in 1998. Ministry Advantage is a coaching organization designed to equip pastors & churches worldwide to reach their full ministry potential. |
He has served over 1000 churches in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. From 1990 to 2003 Russ served as Founding/Senior Pastor of his church in the Dallas, Texas area. In 2004, Russ transitioned from his role as Senior Pastor to launch a multi-campus strategy as Pastor of Multisite Ministry at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, Texas. Lake Pointe averages over 11,000 per weekend in attendance. Since 2003, Russ has helped lead the development and oversees three satellite campuses with a combined attendance of over 3,000. The development of these campuses includes 17 million dollars in land and facilties with over 30 staff. Russ also serves as the Campus Pastor to the largest satellite campus, Lake Pointe Town East.
Russ has a BS degree with a double major in Bible/Theology from Liberty University. He has done postgraduate studies at Dallas Seminary and the Graduate School of Business at DBU.
Russ and his wife Susie have been married since 1981 and live in Rockwall, Texas. Their only child, Stephen, graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 and works for KBMG. He lives in Dallas, Texas.
